Animating "magical pixie dust", straight to final-clean, requires patience, and a BUNCH of 3B pencils!
(Also, it may, or may not, have led to a little bout of RSI. ;))
I was quite happy with the final result, with a respectful nod and a hat-tip to the original effects of the first film.
